Vintage Satsuma footed bowl, pinched gold-topped rim with red braid encircling perimeter. The mosaics of crackled glaze characteristic of satsuma is shown in the close-ups.

Marked on bottom in cursive gold script "Satsuma" and "Japan".
Very good/ excellent condition. Minimal wear. Normal wear on base underside. No cracks, chips, flakes, scratches.
This bowl is probably from the late1970's or early 1980's, when it was purchased overseas.
